New CI Plus Customers Only

We will now make ‘Top Up Payments’ of £200,000 or the sum assured (whichever is lower) if the customer makes a valid claim before the age of 60 for one of these 9 conditions.

Conditions are:

Blindness
Heart failure
Kidney failure
Liver failure
Major organ transplant
Motor Neurone Disease
Open heart surgery
Parkinson’s disease
Traumatic Brain Injury

New CI Plus Customers Only

If a customer or their partner* receive a definite diagnosis by a consultant obstetrician of one of these 7 covered conditions, they could receive a payout of £5,000 if their policy has been live for at least 9 months.

disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC),
eclampsia (but excluding pre-eclampsia),
ectopic pregnancy with surgery to remove a fallopian tube
foetal death in utero after at least 20 weeks gestation
hydatidiform mole
placental abruption (but excluding placenta praevia)
still birth after at least 24 weeks gestation.

*Partner: Someone the policyholder is married to or in a civil partnership with, or someone they have been living with for a minimum of two years as if they were married or in a civil partnership.
