- Life cover, Critical Illness and TPD – HSBC Life will either offer standard rate decisions or be unable to provide a quote.
This assumes that underlying conditions such as kidney stones or kidney disease, urethral strictures and (in male applicant’s) prostate problems, among others, have been excluded as a cause for the cystitis.
There are some rules that apply across all applicants with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) – that would not result in HSBC Life being able to offer Life or Critical Illness cover at the current time. Such as:
- Any outstanding reviews or investigations
- Pending surgery.
This is a general guide and is not a guarantee of acceptance.
