Before you can start arranging life insurance and critical illness cover for your clients you will need to open an agency with HSBC Life and go through our on-boarding process. You’ll then be able register to use HSBC Access — your online adviser portal.
Your BDM will arrange a meeting with you, answer your questions and will be able to take you through the entire process.
The process will involve a few formalities including;
• a fact-finding review,
• due diligence,
• your acceptance of our Terms of Business and
• some checks to make certain your back office can work with our systems and processes.
When the due diligence has been successfully completed your BDM will issue confirmed Terms of Business, Target Market documentation and a Registration Form for you to start quoting for life insurance and critical illness cover via your adviser quote portal (Iress The Exchange, iPipeline, Webline or UnderwriteMe).
Firstly: Registration email from HSBC Life. You will receive an automated email from HSBC Life containing a link. Click on that link and your will be directed to the HSBC Access registration page.
Secondly: Create your password and PIN. Once your credentials are set up, your registration is completed. You will see a ‘Success — Thank you for activating your account’ message. You are now ready to log in.
Finally:
You are now ready to start managing your protection with us. Retrieve and complete ‘In-Progress’ applications, view submitted business and track your commission.
