Before you can start arranging life insurance and critical illness cover for your clients you will need to apply for an agency with HSBC Life and go through our on-boarding process. You’ll then be able register to use HSBC Access — your online adviser portal.
• Email the completed Agency Application Form to our Agency Onboarding team at:agencyonboarding@hsbc.co.uk
• The team will check the forms for completeness, then organise due diligence and risk checks
• If everything is completed correctly and a firm only needs standard onboarding (the vast majority), then we ought to be able to get from receipt of the application to live within 2 days
• When the due diligence has been successfully completed your Business Development Manager will issue confirmed Terms of Business, Target Market documentation and a Registration Form for you to start quoting for life insurance and critical illness cover via your adviser quote portal (Iress The Exchange, iPipeline, Webline or UnderwriteMe)
* If applying via Origo, your application will be forwarded from the Origo Agency Registration Service.
• Firstly: Registration email from HSBC Life. Once your agency application has been approved, you will receive an automated email from HSBC Life containing a link. Click on that link and you will be directed to the HSBC Access registration page
• Secondly: Create your password and PIN. Once your credentials are set up, your registration is completed. You will see a ‘Success — Thank you for activating your account’ message. You are now ready to log in
• Finally: You are now ready to start managing your protection with us. Retrieve and complete ‘In-Progress’ applications, view submitted business and track your commission
